1. Acceptance of Terms

  • By creating an account or using the Afro Honey platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
  • If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our platform.
  • We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to use Afro Honey.
  • By registering, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide a valid email address and complete the registration process to use our services.
  • Each person may only create one account. Duplicate or fake accounts will be terminated.
  • You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. User Conduct

  • You agree to use Afro Honey solely for lawful purposes and for genuine relationship-seeking.
  • You must not upload offensive, misleading, or inappropriate content including photos and messages.
  • Harassment, threats, hate speech, discrimination, or any abusive behaviour toward other members is strictly prohibited.
  • You must not use the platform for commercial purposes, solicitation, or promoting products and services.
  • You must not attempt to circumvent security measures, scrape data, or interfere with the platform operations.

5. Content & Intellectual Property

  • You retain ownership of the content you upload to Afro Honey (photos, bio text, messages).
  • By uploading content, you grant Afro Honey a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to use, display, and distribute your content within the platform.
  • The Afro Honey name, logo, design, and all platform content are the intellectual property of Afro Honey and may not be copied or reproduced.

6. Membership & Payments

  • Free accounts have access to basic features. Premium memberships (Gold and Platinum) unlock additional functionality.
  • All payments are processed securely through our trusted payment providers.
  • Subscription fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated or required by applicable law.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.

7. Profile Verification & Moderation

  • Afro Honey reserves the right to review, moderate, and remove any content that violates these terms.
  • We may verify profiles through email, phone, or selfie verification to maintain platform integrity.
  • Profiles found to be fraudulent, misleading, or in violation of our guidelines may be suspended or permanently banned.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Afro Honey is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
  • We are not responsible for the actions, behaviour, or content of our members.
  • Afro Honey is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform, including interactions with other members.
  • We recommend following our safety tips when meeting other members in person.

9. Termination

  • You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.
  • Afro Honey reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately. Some data may be retained as required by law.

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
  • Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved through the courts of the United Kingdom.
